As I sit here and type you this blog, it's difficult for me to look back on my project and not be disappointed about how much time and money I wasted trying to find all the answers to my Ikea kitchen questions.
I eventually did find the answers I was looking for, but not from visiting forums. I had to learn it the hard way.
In order to learn how to do something the right way, you either need to do it yourself, or get help from someone who has done what you want to do.
The wrong way to solve your kitchen remodeling problems is to listen to someone who is in the same boat you're in (i.e. Kitchen Forums, Ikea Chat Groups). It's not that the people on those websites are trying to do your project harm, the problem is they try and give advice about a subject which they have very little experience.
The right way to get the beautiful new kitchen you're dreaming of is to get advice from someone who's been in your shoes and can show you how to turn your dreams into reality.
